This workshop will offer space for connection and questions, and will touch on topics such as coping with emotional overwhelm, building a support system, and understanding available services and systems in the state (including Early Intervention, PerformCare, and IEPs).
Receiving a new diagnosis for your child can be overwhelming. In this supportive workshop, Samantha Chipetz, LCSW, will guide parents and caregivers through the early steps of navigating this new path.
The format will include a brief presentation followed by a Q&A discussion. Whether your child has recently received a diagnosis or you’re still in the evaluation process, this event is designed to help you feel more prepared and less alone.
