We’re excited to share with you that Montclair Speech Therapy will be offering Spring Break Camp designed to keep your child engaged, learning, and having fun over the break!
The camp will consist of 30–45 minute sessions, based on time and availability. Camp is self-pay and not submitted through insurance, priced at $60 per session. Participants can attend any number of sessions based on their availability. Session dates are April 14–18 & April 21–25.
We’re offering four fantastic programs that will focus on developing key skills in a fun and interactive environment directed by our speech and occupational therapists.
Group 1

Lunch with Friends
This group will target expanding diets with peer models. This group will be led by feeding therapists and/or occupational therapists working through the sensory hierarchy to learn about new foods. Each day will have a different theme of food to bring and learn about.
Group 2

Ready to Read
This group will target phonemic awareness skills, the building blocks for reading. This group will be led by speech therapists working on sound identification and manipulation as well as decoding words and stories.
Group 3

Read and Write
This group will target language skills associated with reading. This group will be led by speech therapists and include topics such as answering comprehension questions, retelling stories, making inferences and predictions, and formulating novel stories.
Group 4

Fun with Fine Motor Skills
This group will target fine motor skills and be led by occupational therapists. It’s never too early to learn to use the small muscles in our hands, fingers, and brains to support early pre-writing skills and emerging handwriting. Together, we will build, create, and play to strengthen and develop these critical skills.
