Pediatric Feeding
Service Category
Challenges with feeding can be stressful! The work of a child is through play so don’t be surprised to find us getting creative and messy with food in our sessions.
Our goal is to create positive meal times in and out of therapy sessions, by learning to dilute the worry around feeding and progressing in a systematic manner that allows the client to feel safe and confident.
Pediatric Feeding Services For Children
Pediatric Feeding FAQs
Infant feeding therapy focuses on newborns and babies (0 to 12 months), with challenges including breastfeeding, bottle feeding, transition to solids, and consuming age appropriate volume and diet. Pediatric feeding therapy covers a broader age range focusing on exposure, exploration, and expansion with foods. Both therapies address complex issues like restricted diet repertoire, food aversions, and tube-to-oral feeding transitions.
